Behind our identity: How family inspired our studio
A journey of collaboration and personal meaning that defines our brand and inspires our future games.
Before developing our first game, we faced a fundamental challenge: creating our studio’s identity. Defining our name and logo was our first joint creation, and although it might seem like a simple initial step, it was a process that required reflection and, above all, collaboration. For us, it was essential that the brand had a deep personal meaning, something that referenced family and my children. Thus, the studio’s name was inspired by their surnames, establishing a direct connection between our personal lives and our professional mission from the very beginning.
With the name defined, we moved on to the visual identity. To ensure the result was truly collective, we printed various logo options and presented them to the children for feedback. The goal was to visualize how they reacted to different shapes and backgrounds. The process revealed a challenge common to any teamwork: everyone had a different preference. To reach a final definition, we adopted a consensus approach: we combined the colors chosen by one with the other’s favorite shape. The result was a visual identity that everyone is proud of, as every detail carries the approval of those who participated in its creation.
This experience was a valuable lesson on team dynamics. We discovered that creating together requires negotiation and empathy; it is not just about imposing a single leader’s vision, but finding a balance that satisfies and engages everyone. This same philosophy is being applied to the development of our future games. I have always wanted to involve my children in the creative process, as, from a young age, they have shown a great affinity for drawing, painting, and creating. We believe that this family connection and this culture of collaboration will prove fruitful for our upcoming projects. Our studio is born, therefore, from a union between play and learning, but also between family and work. We are excited to share this journey with you and show how this collaborative vision will translate into unique digital experiences.
